Ludwigia Peruensis

This species inhabits in the marshy areas of North America, North Africa, Asia, and Europe. The opposite green leaves with red on the underside are attached to the stem with a short petiole. The submerged leaves are slightly shorter and narrower. These plants should be pruned regularly in order to make them more bushy and also to prevent dense growth across the surface of water. Another form, Ludwigia palustris green has leaves which are bright green in colour. They can be planted in the aquarium in a group of 4-6 in the middle of the tank.
