This species inhabits in the marshy areas of North America, North Africa, Asia, and Europe. The opposite green leaves with red on the underside are attached to the stem with a short petiole. The submerged leaves are slightly shorter and narrower. These plants should be pruned regularly in order to make them more bushy and also to prevent dense growth across the surface of water. Ludwigia Palustris Red is a plant which turns to red easily and it is a bit smaller than Ludwigia Repens Rubin. Every shoot becomes 3-4 CM wide and 9-29 CM high. This plant happily creates side stalks, but trimming increases the amount of the leaves, and makes the plant denser.
