Lobelia cardinalis

Lobelia Cardinalis has its origin of north America where it can be found in the temperate zone to warm areas of Florida. This is more than an aquatic plant because of its beautiful scarlet red blooms; hence, it is also cultivated in gardens. This plant has a fleshy stem with alternate leaves which are elliptical to circular. The aerial leaves is reddish green with purple on underside. When grown underwater the leaves will turn bright green. A slow growing species which requires plenty of light and neutral PH.
