Glossostigma elatinoides

Glossostigma Elatinoides is one of the smallest aquarium plants,under bright light and additional co2 injection, this plants grows prostrate along the substrate and soon will form a green carpet .the trailing stem develops small egg shaped opposite leaves which are dark green. Under poor light the stem will grow upright and thus unable to form a carpet.

This plant requires soft water and nutrient rich bottom in addition to bright light and additional CO2 injection.
