Eustralis Stellata

This plant is a very decorative plant and becomes more attractive when it is planted in group. The leaves are arranged in whorls. The emerse plant has 3-6 leaves in one whorl while the submerse plant has 3-10 leaves in one whorl. This is an extremely demanding plant which requires nutrient rich medium, CO₂ injection and bright light. A good indicator plant with regard to nutrients especially iron as the leaves will turn yellow when the growing medium can’t supply adequate nutrients.
