Echinodorus Radican Cordifolius

This plant was previously known as Echinodorus Radicans, a name now considered obsolete. Young leaves are usually oval and become heart-shaped as they mature. The petiole is shorter or equal to the length of leaf blade when grown submersed. The leaf blade has 4 conspicuous lateral veins on both sides of the mid rib and is lobed at the base. A hardy species that requires plenty of room, light and a good substrate. It is able to grow up to 60 CM in height in the aquarium while in terrariums it can reach 150 CM.
