Ammannia gracilis

Ammannia gracilis has upright stems with opposite sessile leaves, the color of the submersed leaves are olive green when grown under water the leaves are 7-12 CM long and 0.6-1.5 CM broad. It does not tolerate hard water and require strong light. Pruning should be done when the stems touches the surface of the water to encourage growth of lateral branches from dormant buds. They are ideal mid to background specimens.
